FAQs

In Florida a DUI stays on your record for three to fiveyears. In extreme cases it can stay on for up to 10 years.

With an FR-44policy, you’ll be required to carry higher car insurance coverage— at least 100/300/50 coverage limits, which means:

·        $100,000of bodily injury liability coverage per person

·        $300,000of bodily injury liability coverage per accident

·        $50,000 of property damage liability coverage per accident

In most cases, FR44 insurance must be held for three years in Florida. You must maintain continuous coverage throughout this period. If you let coverage lapse or expire, your insurer is required to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you do not comply with the terms of your FR-44, your driver’s license could be suspended.
